About Me

I currently work as a Marketing Coordinator for Tiff's Treats Warm Cookie Delivery. Yes, my job is to bake and deliver cookies! If I could ask myself in 2013 what I would be doing at 25, I would have probably said being an actor, touring with Taylor Swift, or a professional tennis player. Instead, I have been with Tiff's Treats for over 3 years helping grow a small Austin, Texas brand into a global sensation!

To be honest, I would still want to do any of those jobs but this journey in my professional career has been amazing. I started with this company in 2017 as the office admin. I loved the opportunity to work in a small headquarters because I was exposed to the strategic planning and execution of projects from multiple departments. This has taught me to work proactively in a fast moving environment, volunteer to take on projects that have little direction, and most importantly, how to fail. I learned that failing an assignment and missing the mark on a project are two separate lessons. One can be forgotten with a tasty margarita, the other is admitting your mistakes and taking responsibility.

When I moved into Marketing with Tiff's Treats, my duties changed. I took on a new challenge by moving to a new state and tasked with growing our newest market. This has lead me to develop skills like working independently at all hours in the week and building new relationships with the community in Nashville. I have seen success so far in my new position but I always strive for the next opportunity.

In 2020, I hope to start expanding my managerial skills and heading a team. I also enrolled in a Masters program at American University to begin my steps to earning a degree in Strategic Communications. In this degree program I have been exposed to the influence of social and digital impacts on the business landscape. I began completing assignments that help broaden my practical communication skills in times of new projects and fast evolving crises.

Due to the current climate of COVID-19 and the national emergency, I am staying optimistic on the future.
